Having grown up with a pediatric dentist for a mother, going into dentistry myself seemed like a perfect fit, and it has been! I love that every patient is different; no two patients are alike. My patients have proved to me that it isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach, and I love the uniqueness each one brings to our office. Working with so many unique people means I get to be of service to others and help people maintain and improve their oral health, quality of life, and appearance.
Education and Continuing Education
- Bachelor of Science in biology – University of Houston
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Dentistry
As an office, we are part of a study club with local dentists and specialists, which lets us collaborate on educational courses and expand our knowledge base. Currently, I’m working toward 500 hours of continuing education to achieve my goal of obtaining a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Staying up to date on the latest technology, science, and dental research involves a lifelong commitment; it’s very important to give patients the best treatment and care.
Outside the Office
I grew up in La Porte and have lived there and in Houston all my life. I am newly married and looking to grow our family.
Beyond dentistry, I enjoy playing the violin, baking sweets, gardening, yoga, traveling the world, and spending time with family and friends. I am also involved with Give Kids a Smile Day, Texas Mission of Mercy, and Houston Young Leaders.
